Giris would call me Jyoti which means 'light' because he said he sees that in me. So I light this candle to spread the light to all the dark corners of our spirits that are feeling this loss. In our grief let us remember the words of Leonard Cohen "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in" <3
