I just spent a big chunk of time reading all the beautiful, meaningful tributes to Giris. It was like reading a novel - a larger than life hero who had his faults but they were hugely overshadowed by his beaming inner light and by his love of people, knowledge & life. Zutty, from their first meeting, loved Giris. I was in awe and maybe a bit afraid of him. I met Giris for the last time over a year ago, in a Shopping Mall in Montreal. He was warm & friendly with a big hug & I felt so close to him. He will be missed by so many around the world. Rest In Peace Giris. Carol & Zutty
