I had the pleasure of helping Giris get the India tour bus ready for it's trip from London to India back in 1983. When it was finished I remember him taking the bus on a test drive with Chandra one night and them coming back with the roof half torn off. They had gone under one of London's many low overpasses with Chandra in the upper deck and luckily he was not hurt. Giris managed to find a replacement roof, we painted it fixed the upper deck and everyone left a week or 2 later. Giris had steadfast determination and nothing stood in his way. He is now in the loving embrace of the divine mother!
